Allergies: in allergy season the air contains allergens that cause swelling in your throat which affects the air passage causing snoring, also humidifiers help a lot in easing symptoms and discomfort of allergies, there is no specific type of humidifiers for allergies but as per people feedback I can tell you that cool mist humidifiers are recommended.

Sinusitis: humidifier add moisture to the air which can help with snoring that caused by sinus issues as dry air causes the mucus in the in sinus and nose to stuck and not be able to drain as it should, the moisture can help drain it and release this blockage that is the reason of snoring.

Nasal congestion: with the same concept of sinus problems it also helps with nasal congestion.
